TOLEDO, Ohio — The ramp to I-280 south from I-75 south is back open after it was closed due to a crash.
Toledo police said on social media that a semi-truck rolled over. Toledo Fire and Rescue had their hazmat team on the scene due to the semi-trailer having contents considered to be hazardous. It is unsure what the product was that was spilled, but crews were able to clean up and contain the spill.
TFRD told WTOL 11 that there was no danger to the community and there was no need for any evacuations at the time.
According to a police report, the 55-year-old driver was not injured in the incident. The roadway was closed for hours as crews cleaned up the spill.
