All lanes reopen after injury crash on I-475 between Perrysburg split and I-475/US-23

At least one person was taken to the hospital, according to a city of Perrysburg spokesperson. One lane has now reopened to traffic.

PERRYSBURG, Ohio — UPDATE: All lanes have since reopened, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.

A crash on I-475 northbound between the Perrysburg split and US 24 temporarily closed all lanes of traffic Tuesday afternoon. One lane has since reopened.

According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, the crash occurred on I-475 near the I-75/US-23 split around 12:45 p.m.

Perrysburg first responders were dispatched to the incident, which involved a crash between a semitrailer and a car, according to a city of Perrysburg spokesperson. At least one person was taken to the hospital following the crash. Preliminary reports are that the car crossed the center median from the southbound side.

Additionally, a crash on the I-75 southbound ramp to I-475 northbound has also closed lanes. 

Traffic camera photos show backups and delays. It is unknown how long the remaining closure is expected to last.
