NORTHWEST, Ohio — Did you see a bright light flying through the sky Wednesday after dark?
Around 8 p.m., there were confirmed reports of a bright fireball meteor. It was visible from at least parts of 10 states and Ontario in Canada.
There were over 150 confirmed reports, making this a well-documented and widely viewed event.

Meteors can take on many colors when they burn up in the atmosphere and it all comes down to their elemental composition.
