TOLEDO, Ohio — Authorities issued a tornado warning for Lucas County on Sunday evening, however, the warning has since expired without significant incident.
The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning for Lucas County from 5:14 p.m. until 5:45 p.m. Some residents in west Toledo heard outdoor warning sirens at the time.
WTOL 11 meteorologist John Burchfield has been tracking thunderstorms in the region. A potentially tornadic cell of storms moved over Magee Marsh and the Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge around 6 p.m.
