TOLEDO, Ohio — The water level is likely to change this weekend as some head out to the Walleye Run.
Rainfall will enter this weekend, but the whole weekend will not be a washout.
Rainfall will start late in the day on Friday
A slow, steady rain will bring 0.50”-0.75” of rain with isolated higher totals by Sunday.
So how does that impact the water level? The Maumee is at 3.2 feet as of 11 a.m. on Friday, but that is likely to change.
By Monday water levels will likely be around 5 feet.
Heavier downpours can increase water levels rather quickly, make sure you take these changing water levels into account when selecting your fishing spot.
