TOLEDO, Ohio — We know what you’re saying: “Severe summer weather, it snowed a few days ago, how can we think about summer?”
Warm weather is around the corner and next week is Severe Weather Week. We use March 20-26, 2022 to prepare for severe weather and dust off our knowledge of summer storms.
Make sure to tune in on Saturday, March 26 at 5:30 p.m. as the WTOL 11 Weather Team will help you prepare for the season of storms.
One of the great stories showcased during the weather special is Diane Phillips discussing where safe locations are during severe weather.
But when preparing for severe weather you have to have the most important tool in your tool box, the WTOL 11 Weather App.
The Weather App gives you weather that is specific to our area. Providing needed information and warning through Weather Alerts on your phone, tracking lightning, providing forecasts and live radar are just a few of the amazing features on the app.
But you can also get other information that can help you have fun.
With the Walleye Run starting, its important to know that the water levels will drop slightly this week:
Current: 4 feet
The rest of the week: 3-4 feet
