2 indicted in north Toledo fatal shooting; police still searching for one

Ontrionis Armour and Marquise Brent were indicted on multiple charges July 1, including murder. Armour is not in custody and a warrant has been issued for his arrest

TOLEDO, Ohio — A Lucas County grand jury indicted two people, one of whom police are still searching for, on multiple charges in a shooting last month that killed one person and injured a teenager in north Toledo.

Police are still searching for Ontrionis Armour, 23, who was indicted in the shooting death of 44-year-old Joshua Davis and the injury of a teenager on June 13.

The jury indicted Armour, 23, and Marquise Brent, 27, each on the following charges:

  • one count of aggravated murder
  • two counts of murder
  • two counts of attempt to commit murder
  • three counts of felonious assault
  • one count of improperly discharging a firearm into a habitation
  • one count of having weapons while under disability

Brent was arrested in late June and had his bond set at $1 million. On July 16, his total bond was set at the Lucas County Common Pleas Court at $1.5 million total for all 10 charges. 

A murder warrant was issued for Armour, who is still on the run and is pictured below:

Anyone with information on Armour is asked to call or text Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111. You can remain anonymous.

Police responded to the intersections of Lake and Elm streets around 4:30 a.m. on June 13 after two people were shot in a residence. Emergency crews were seen performing CPR on both victims as they exited the house.

Both victims were taken to the hospital via ambulance. Davis later died of his injuries.

Davis was shot twice in the torso and his death was ruled a homicide by multiple gunshot wounds, according to the Lucas County Coroner's Office.
