Toledo police: Suspect approaches car with firearm, robs occupant

The suspect allegedly demanded the victim's money and jewelry.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Police are investigating an armed robbery at a west Toledo gas station late Thursday. 

According to a Toledo police report, authorities responded to the Sunoco Gas Station in the 500 block of Reynolds Road after receiving a call regarding a robbery shortly after 10 p.m. 

Police said they spoke with a victim, who said he had been sitting in a parked vehicle at the gas station when an unknown male suspect approach, walking northbound on Reynolds.

The victim told police the suspect then arrived on the passenger side of the vehicle and, while brandishing a firearm, demanded money and jewelry. The suspect was wearing all black, including a ski mask and gloves, the report said. 

There were no injuries listed in the report.
