TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo police are searching for a suspect wanted on a felonious assault charge after allegedly striking a person in the head with a shovel on Nov. 9.
According to a court document, Justin Poore punched the victim in the face, then hit them in the head with a shovel in an incident that occurred on Peak Avenue in west Toledo. As a result of the assault, the victim required medical attention, including stitches in the back of the head, police said.
In a social media post, Toledo police said Poore is not yet in custody, and asked anyone with information to call or text Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111. You can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward. A picture of Poore is included below:
