BLISSFIELD, Mich. — Blissfield police are seeking information on an incident in which a driver struck a pedestrian, then fled the scene early Friday.
According to a press release from Blissfield police, a vehicle struck a pedestrian on South Lane Street in the village's downtown at approximately 7:25 a.m. The driver initially stopped at the scene, then left the area without identifying himself to the pedestrian or police, authorities claimed.
Police did not describe the condition of the victim in the press release.
Police requested the driver contact the Blissfield Police Department immediately via the Lenawee County Sheriff's Office at 517-263-0524. Any witnesses who were not already interviewed are also asked to contact authorities.
