TOLEDO, Ohio — Authorities arrested six people after a "large brawl" broke out between several students at the Glass City Academy in downtown Toledo Wednesday morning.
According to a Toledo police report and court documents, police responded to the downtown Toledo school at approximately 11:30 a.m. regarding a large fight. Officers said they helped quell the disorder before arresting four adults and two juveniles.
Police arrested Marquale Bryant, 18, Clarence Washington, 18, and Zyshaun Washington, 21. All three named suspects were charged on counts of Aggravated Riot and Assault on Teacher/Disrupting School Activity. The identity of the fourth adult suspect was not made available at this time.
It is WTOL 11 policy not to name juvenile suspects unless they are tried as adults.
According to a court document, one person, whose identity was redacted from the report, did sustain an injury when they attempted to deescalate the situation. Police said in a report that none of the injuries were major.
Reports from TPD did not state the cause of the fight.
