Lucas County Sheriff's Office looking for 2 suspects accused in vehicle theft

The suspects are accused in an Aug. 4 vehicle theft.

LUCAS COUNTY, Ohio — The Lucas County Sheriff's Office is asking the public for help in identifying two suspects accused in a vehicle theft from a local auto auction business. 

According to a social media post from the Lucas County Sheriff's Office, two individuals are considered persons of interest in an Aug. 4 vehicle theft from the Crissey Auto Auction of Ohio, which is located in the 1700 block of Crissey Road in Springfield Township. The suspects allegedly stole the vehicle around 3:30 a.m., then abandoned it in the 9600 block of Airport Highway around 4:20 a.m.

After abandoning the vehicle, the suspects fled westbound on foot along Airport Highway, authorities said.

The sheriff's office provided in their post photographs of the two suspects. The first suspect, who is depicted in the following two photos, was described by authorities as a white male with long black/brown hair, and is dressed in black.

The second suspect was described by the sheriff's office in the post as a white male with short brown hair, wearing a red shirt with an unknown logo on the left front pocket, and an unknown logo on the back of the shirt, black pants and black shoes. A photograph depicting the suspect is below:
