FINDLAY, Ohio — A Hancock County grand jury on Tuesday indicted a man on multiple charges after he allegedly shot another person in the face and fled the scene last week in Findlay.
Marcuss Martinez, 39, was indicted on one count each of attempted murder, felonious assault, having weapons while under disability and tampering with evidence.
According to Findlay police, officers were responding to a report of a man with a gun outside of a bar Broad Avenue and Howard Street around 7 p.m. on Sept. 13 when they were advised a person had been shot and the suspect had fled.
Martinez was located close by and continued fleeing police before he was eventually caught and taken into custody.
The victim was hospitalized with a gunshot wound to the lower left portion of their face. Their condition is not known at this time.
