TOLEDO, Ohio — Just over a year after a south Toledo crash killed a pedestrian, the driver involved has been sentenced.
According to court records, a judge sentenced Ra'smuir Mixon to six months in prison Wednesday. Mixon pleaded no contest to vehicular homicide on Aug. 2.

Mixon was charged in the Sept. 15, 2023 crash that killed Lori Klein, 61. Klein was crossing Broadway Street near South Avenue when she was hit by a vehicle.
Mixon remained on scene after the crash, police said.
