TOLEDO, Ohio — A second victim in a May shooting has died of his injuries, bringing additional murder charges to the indictments of two suspects already charged in the death of a teen in the same south Toledo shooting.
According to an updated press release from Toledo police Thursday, 25-year-old Teryaun Perrin died from his injuries on Aug. 17, two-and-a-half months after the initial May 31 shooting. Perrin is the city of Toledo's 23rd homicide in 2024.
Marshawn Robinson, 17, was also killed in the Beecham Street shooting, and died the same day he was shot.
A grand jury report indicates both Marquise Walker and Markas Walker, suspects already indicted on multiple charges in the homicide of Robinson, were indicted each on an additional murder charge Thursday.
Markas Walker, 21, was arrested on June 13 for the shooting.
Marquise Walker is not yet in custody, Toledo police and Lucas County jail said.

In total, both Marks Walker and Marquise Walker are each facing charges of murder for both Robinson and Perrin's deaths, felonious assault, discharging a firearm on a prohibited premises and tampering with evidence.
