Victim in north Toledo shooting dies of injuries, police say

The victim was shot on Aug. 1 and died Tuesday, police say.

TOLEDO, Ohio — The victim in a north Toledo shooting on Aug. 1 has since died, Toledo police said in a press release Tuesday. 

According to the release, 19-year-old Rashaad Quinn died of his injuries on Tuesday.

Quinn was found in the hallway of a building in the 600 block of Locust Street on Aug. 1, suffering from a gunshot wound. An off-duty police officer located him, and emergency crews transported Quinn to the hospital in critical condition. 

Police are investigating Quinn's death as a homicide. As of Tuesday, no suspects have been named in the incident.
