OAK HARBOR, Ohio — An Oak Harbor man pleaded guilty to and was sentenced for multiple felony counts after he sexually abused a child in 2023.
According to Ottawa County court documents, Robert Darr, 64, pleaded guilty on Monday to three counts of gross sexual imposition and two counts of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles, all of which are felony charges.

Darr was arrested in October on accusations that he sexually touched a victim who is less than 12 years old at a residence in Ottawa County. The incident occurred sometime between Jan. 1, 2023 and Oct. 2, authorities said.
A judge sentenced Darr to 10 years in prison, with credit for 251 days previously served. Additionally, Darr is required to register as a Tier II sex offender every 180 days for 25 years.
