One person grazed by bullet in north Toledo

TOLEDO, Ohio — One person was grazed by a bullet in north Toledo Wednesday afternoon. 

Police responded to a home in the 200 block of East Pearl Street, near the Lagrange Library, at approximately 2:15 p.m.

A Toledo police sergeant on scene confirmed to WTOL 11 that one person, later identified as a 17-year-old in a police report, had been grazed in the leg by a bullet. 

Toledo Fire and Rescue treated their injury on scene. No one was taken to the hospital.

Around 3:30 p.m. WTOL 11 saw what appeared to be five people on the porch of a home. At least one person had handcuffs on.

According to a later police report, three 17-year-olds were charged with felonious assault in the incident. Police claimed an "ongoing dispute" led to the shooting. 

Multiple casings were located in front of the location, police said.
