TOLEDO, Ohio — One person is in custody and another is wanted by law enforcement following a pursuit from west Toledo to Wood County Monday night.
According to a Toledo police report, Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers attempted to stop what they described as a possibly stolen vehicle near Bancroft Street and Campus Road in west Toledo. The vehicle allegedly refused to stop, then led troopers on a chase through Toledo.

Once the suspect vehicle arrived in the area of ProMedica Parkway and I-475, Toledo police officers joined the pursuit to assist troopers. The chase continued to I-75 south, police said, all the way into Wood County at Wales Road.
The suspect vehicle crashed into a median, and the driver fled on foot. Troopers attempted to pursue the suspect on foot, but ultimately fled police.
A passenger from the suspect vehicle was taken into custody.
