Separate police units then attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle when it was observed at Greenbelt Parkway and Bush Street. The suspect did not stop for police, according to the report, and a pursuit began.

Police chased the suspect, who then was seen jumping out of the truck's driver's seat, and fled onto Warsaw Street near East Park Street, officers said. Police surrounded the area and found the suspect behind a garage in the 100 block of East Central Avenue.
