Two people robbed while trying to buy vehicle, Toledo police say

The suspects arrived at the location where two victims believed they would be purchasing a vehicle.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Police are investigating an incident in north Toledo Monday evening during which two people were allegedly robbed while trying to buy a vehicle. 

According to a Toledo police report, two people were interested in buying a car off of a Facebook listing. Three suspects met the victims at a location in the 800 block of Yates Street around 5 p.m. Police said the suspects pointed guns at the victims and took their personal belongings.

The suspects fled in a White Toyota RAV4, the victims told police. 

Police did not list any injuries as a result of the incident.
