TOLEDO, Ohio — One person was taken to the hospital early Saturday after a shooting in south Toledo, according to a police report.
The victim of the shooting told officers he had been outside his car near the 900 block of Prouty Avenue just before 7 a.m. when an unknown suspect shot him. The victim was struck once, and then transported to a hospital with what police described as non-life threatening injuries.
Toledo police located the scene and continue to investigate.
