TOLEDO, Ohio — Police have arrested a suspect in a central Toledo shooting that left a man dead in early March.
Deandre Koonce, 29, was arrested Wednesday following an investigation into the shooting death of 34-year-old Caprise Arnett.
Arnett was found shot in the 1400 block of Belmont Avenue just after 6 a.m. on March 3. Arnett was taken to the hospital and died from a gunshot wound to the torso, according to a report from the Lucas County coroner.
According to court records, Koonce is accused of "purposely" shooting Arnett during a physical altercation inside the location on Belmont Avenue. Court records state that the incident was captured on surveillance video.
