TOLEDO, Ohio — A police pursuit near the Ohio-Michigan border early Saturday did not culminate in any arrests, according to a police report.
Washington Township police initiated a pursuit with a suspect at approximately 12:05 a.m. in the area of Alexis and Hagman. Toledo police assisted and joined the pursuit at northbound N. Detroit Avenue and Benore Road, which led the chase into Michigan.
According to the police report, the Monroe County Sheriff's Office declined to take the pursuit over and the suspect "avoided capture" near S. Dixie and Kelly Road. Police claimed the suspect, Omar Frey, was operating a Tan Ford F150 with Ohio license plate KCT7738.
"Warrants [for Frey] were said to be issued by Washington Township," Toledo police wrote in the report. Police did not describe the nature of the charges against the suspect.
