TOLEDO, Ohio — A Toledo man has been arrested for allegedly assaulting another person on the University of Toledo's campus earlier in October.
According to court records, Peyton Reasonover, 20, was arrested on Wednesday, Oct. 16 for assaulting another man on Wednesday, Oct. 9.
Police records indicate that Reasonover punched the victim in the face with a closed fist, which resulted in a closed fracture of the victim's left orbital floor and a closed fracture of his orbital plate of the ethmoid bone.
Reasonover has been charged with felonious assault due to the severity of the victim's injuries. His bond is set at $50,000 at 10% assured. He is due back in court for a preliminary hearing on Wednesday, Oct. 23.
Reasonover is a sophomore on the UToledo football team. A university spokesperson said he is indefinitely suspended from the team.
