TOLEDO, Ohio — A United States postal worker was robbed in Toledo on Sunday according to Toledo police.
TPD records indicate the robbery occurred just after noon on Friday near the intersection of North Hawley Street and Indiana Avenue in central Toledo.
According to police, the victim was held up at gunpoint and robbed of his keys and cell phone.
This is not the first alleged robbery of a postal worker this year.
On April 1, a man was arrested for a robbery of a postal worker in Oregon in March.
In late 2023, USPS officials said they were in the process of replacing 42,500 old, less secure "arrow" locks with new electronic locks.
