TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo police are investigating a shooting that injured a teenager Sunday night.
According to a police report, authorities were called to a local hospital around 8 p.m. after a 16-year-old walked in with a gunshot wound injury. Police spoke with the victim, who said he had been shot by an "unknown male" near Cherry Street and Park Street.

The victim is expected to live, police said.
Police said there had been no ShotSpotter Alert triggered in that area, and could not locate a scene.
Authorities continue to investigate.
