Multiple injured in four weekend shootings

Between four shootings, five people were injured. At least two are in serious condition.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Multiple people, including two juveniles, were injured in shootings over the weekend, according to Toledo police reports. 

Police first responded to the 900 block of North Huron Street in north Toledo around 7 p.m. Friday. According to a police report, a 32-year-old was found shot outside of a residence. The victim was in critical condition at the time of the report, and no suspects were listed.

Another person was injured in a shooting early Saturday. According to a police report, officers found a 27-year-old in the front yard of a home in the 5300 block of Fleet Road in west Toledo. The victim was suffering from what police described as "multiple gunshot wounds".

Emergency responders began rendering life-saving aid to the victim, and transported the victim to the hospital in serious condition. No suspects were listed in the report. Police also said two residences were struck by gunfire. 

In a third incident, police responded to the intersection of Richards Road and Amsterdam Street in west Toledo at about 3:15 p.m. Saturday. Officers later located a victim at the intersection of Secor Road and Edgevale Road. The victim was suffering from a gunshot wound, police said, and was transported to the hospital. 

According to police, the suspect did not provide any information about the suspect.

Police are also investigating a shooting WTOL 11 previously reported on, a double shooting in east Toledo that sent two juveniles to the hospital. On Saturday around 8 p.m., police responded to Waite High School, where multiple people were playing basketball when an unknown suspect allegedly drove by, firing multiple shots at the victims. Two juveniles were taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
