TOLEDO, Ohio — One person was taken to the hospital after a stabbing outside a west Toledo convenience store Friday morning.

According to a Toledo police report, a 21-year-old man was sitting in his vehicle at a convenience store at 5013 Bennett Road just before 11 a.m. The suspect, identified in the police report as 36-year-old Alexander Tucker, reached into the vehicle with a knife and began to stab and cut the victim's arms.

The suspect then left the area via a vehicle, the victim told police.

The victim's injuries were described as non-life threatening in the police report. The victim was transported to the hospital by private vehicle, where court documents stated he needed stitches in both arms due to the lacerations he suffered.

Police responded to the scene to interview witnesses and view security footage, police said. Tucker was later arrested and charged with felonious assault. He was arraigned in Toledo Municipal Court, where a judge set his bond at $75,000.
