WHITEHOUSE, Ohio — The Anthony Wayne schools Board of Education intends to appoint Kevin Herman, the current assistant superintendent, as interim superintendent at a June 27 meeting, a district spokesperson confirmed to WTOL 11 on Thursday.
The district's current superintendent, Jim Fritz, announced in May he would be leaving Anthony Wayne for Oregon City Schools. His last day with the district will be July 31.
In a press release from Oregon City Schools, the district said Fritz will briefly serve as associate superintendent, then take on his new position beginning Sept. 28, replacing Hal Gregory.
Fritz served as Anthony Wayne's superintendent for 14 years.
Gregory will then become assistant superintendent of programs and personnel for North Point Educational Service Center, starting Sept. 30.
