2 people recovering after west Toledo shooting

All injuries appear to be non-life threatening.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Two people are recovering after they were both involved in a west Toledo shooting Thursday evening. 

Toledo Police say 38-year-old Anthony Adams and 41-year-old Arika Boykin were in front of a house on Avondale Avenue when several shots were fired. 

Adams was struck multiple times and was transported to a local hospital by a life squad.

Boykin was grazed on his side and drove himself to a local hospital.

All injuries appear to be non-life threatening.
