A fire broke out at a central Toledo home that is connected to a bar on Sunday evening.
The bar was the scene of a deadly shooting on Sunday morning.
A Toledo Fire and Rescue Department sergeant says crews were called to the location on Belmont Avenue near Junction around 8:30 p.m.
Fire dispatch related to fire crews that someone had thrown something into the home.
When firefighters arrived they were unable to get to the building because there were about 40 to 50 people who were taking part in a vigil that were blocking the way.
Eventually the crowd dispersed enough to let firefighters get through.
Extra crews were called to assist with the fire.
No one was injured in the fire and no one was believed to be inside at the time of the fire.
It’s unknown at this time if the object that was thrown into the home was the cause of the fire. An arson investigation is underway.
Toledo Fire and Rescue says it is unknown if the bar was a legitimate business.
A witness at the scene of the shooting on Sunday morning said the bar was an after-hours club.
