TOLEDO, Ohio — A Toledo man is dead after an accident in west Toledo on Sunday evening.
Police say 42-year-old Antonio Knowles lost control of his vehicle after he was attempting to turn left onto Christian Rd. from Jackman Rd. at a very high rate of speed.
Mr. Knowles' car then hit a large sign in front of Good Times Sports Bar and Tavern before spinning out and hitting several cars in the parking lot.
Mr. Knowles was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the only person in the car at the time of the crash.
The accident happened just after 7 p.m.
Police believe speed played a part in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
