SYLVANIA, Ohio — The city of Sylvania announced the closure of part of Main Street in Sylvania that will last during a period of construction.
According to a press release from the city of Sylvania, crews will be reconstructing Main Street between Convent Boulevard and the bridge spanning Tenmile Creek on Aug. 12.
The construction will result in the closure of northbound Main Street between Covenant and the bridge. The closure will last 60 days. Southbound Main Street will remain open.

The city said a northbound detour using Harroun Road and Monroe Street will be set up.
