TOLEDO, Ohio — A Toledo police vehicle was involved in a three-vehicle crash in Point Place Thursday night.
One of two officers in the TPD vehicle was taken to the hospital "for precautionary reasons," a sergeant at the scene told WTOL 11. No other injuries in the crash were reported.
According to Toledo police, its officers were approaching the intersection of 108th and Summit streets just after 10 p.m. when another driver made a left turn in front of them.
The police cruiser struck the car and sent it into another car that was stopped at the red light.
Summit Street was blocked off between 107th and 109th streets.
This was the second crash involving a Toledo police cruiser Thursday night.
An officer was taken to the hospital with minor injuries and released after a three-car crash involving a Toledo police vehicle downtown.
