'Let's Get Moving' has its 5th walk

The bi-weekly walking program has officially hit its midpoint and will celebrate on Tuesday, Sept. 3.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo's "Let's Get Moving" walking program will celebrate its midpoint next week with a event focused on health and wellness. 

In this milestone walk, the city of Toledo invites participants and their guests to meet at Willy's Park, located at 1375 Hillcrest Avenue. The event starts at 6:30 p.m. where all who wish to participate will meet at the Eleanor Kahle parking lot.

At 6:45 p.m., participants will then walk the trail at Willy's park until 7 p.m., and head to Woodlawn Cemetery for a tour, which is expected to last 45 minutes.

The event is held to embrace health and wellness as well as connecting with others in the community. Walking speed and distance is at your own pace.
