TOLEDO, Ohio — Two people are recovering after two different shootings occurred in central Toledo following a block party that Toledo Police say involved hundreds of people.
The first shooting happened in the 2700 block of Lawrence Avenue around 2 a.m.
Toledo Police say they were responding to a man who was shot in one of his legs.
While on scene, TPD say another man was shot about 20 feet away. He was also shot in his leg.
One victim was transported to a local hospital by first responders, the other man was taken by someone else.
Both victims told police they have no idea who shot them. Both are expected to be okay.
TPD have no suspects at this time.
Toledo Police say they notice a trend of shootings happening during mass gatherings and parties.
The ban on mass gatherings of more than 10 people is still in effect in Ohio until July 1.
No one has been charged for violating the ban.
