Two people were sent to the hospital in serious condition after being shot inside a home on Crossfields Road just before 1 a.m. Monday morning.

SYLVANIA TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A series of 911 calls released by Sylvania Township police are detailing the moments following a double shooting that injured two people early Monday morning.

The victims, who have not yet been identified, called 911 to report that an unknown person came into their house in the 4500 block of Crossfields Road near Corey Road and shot them.

During one of the calls, a person explains they've been shot four to five times, including in the face and legs. The same caller said they chased the alleged intruder out of the house.

During another call to 911, a caller can be heard saying "it's a nightmare" following the moments after being shot.

Sylvania Township police said Monday that both victims were hospitalized in serious condition. A suspect has not yet been identified by authorities in the shooting.
