Waite High School initiated a brief lockdown Wednesday after school officials received a phone call that included an alleged threat.
According to Toledo police, a suspect called in a "shooting threat" to Waite High School. A Toledo Public Schools spokesperson said Waite went into a "level one" lockdown while administrators and police determined who had sent the call. Classes continued, but no visitors were admitted to the school.

Authorities located the student who allegedly made the call; they now face disciplinary action and possible expulsion.
A Toledo Police Department report released Thursday said officials were able to track the source of the threatening call, which led them to a 15-year-old, whom they interviewed and then booked into the juvenile justice center.
The lockdown was lifted after the suspected student was located.
According to police, the person who initially answered the call asked who had a gun. In response, the caller said "your mama". The threat call still prompted Toledo Public Schools to put the school into a lockdown while the caller was located.
