SENECA COUNTY, Ohio — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that left a 35-year-old Findlay man dead in Seneca County Saturday evening.

Troopers say a car driven by Tiffany Robertson, 35, of Findlay, was traveling eastbound on County Road 59 in Big Spring Township while Jeremy Martinez, 35, of Findlay was on a motorcycle driving westbound.

Robertson went left of center and off the left side of the road, swerved back into the westbound lane and struck Martinez's motorcycle, according to police.

Troopers say after the impact, Robertson drove off the right side of the roadway and struck a mailbox before coming to final rest, while the motorcycle came to rest in the westbound lane after ejecting Martinez.

Martinez died on the scene and was transported to the Seneca County Coroner's Office. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, according to troopers.

Robertson was not injured in the crash.

Both vehicles were damaged and towed. Troopers are investigating the crash and say it's unknown if drugs or alcohol played a role.

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, New Regal Fire Department and the Seneca County EMS assisted on the scene.
