TOLEDO, Ohio — Several downtown Toledo roadways will be closed Monday during the city's Labor Day parade.
According to a press release from the city, roads will begin closing around 7:30 a.m. Monday, and the closures will last throughout the parade. The parade itself will kick off at 9 a.m. and last until approximately noon.
The following roads will be closed during the parade:
- Adams Street: Erie to Summit streets
- Huron Street: Lafayette to Jackson streets
- Jackson Street: Huron to Summit streets
- Jefferson Avenue: Erie to Summit streets
- Madison Avenue: Erie to St. Clair streets
- Monroe Street: Huron to Summit streets
- Ottawa Street: Broadway to Washington streets
- St. Clair Street: Lafayette to Monroe streets
- St. Clair Street: Adams to Jackson streets
- Superior Street: Jackson to Orange streets
- Washington Street: Huron to Ottawa streets
The parade itself will begin on Summit Street near Monroe Street, then move north on Summit to Jackson, west on Jackson to Huron, then south on Huron.
It will disband on Monroe Street.
