Three homes struck by gunfire in west Toledo Wednesday evening

One suspect was in custody, police said.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Police are investigating a west Toledo shooting that struck three homes Wednesday afternoon. No one was injured, and one person is in custody.

According to a Toledo police report, officers responded to the 600 block of Dryden Drive at approximately 6 p.m. regarding a call for shots fired. Crews arrived on scene to discover that three separate homes in the block had been struck by gunfire.

Police said in their report they saw multiple shell casings at the scene. Witnesses told police that a black sedan may be involved.

Police on scene told WTOL 11 surveillance video showed two suspects fleeing the scene. Police also said one person was taken into custody. The identity of the suspect was not listed in the police report.
