Toledo police are searching for a suspect after a deadly shooting at an apartment building in central Toledo.
Officers responded to a call about a person shot just after midnight Wednesday at the Ashland Manor Apartment complex.
Officers at the scene told WTOL 11 one person was rushed to the hospital where he later died from his injuries. Police later identified the victim in a press release as 36-year-old Antron Tilman.
It is unclear whether the shooting occurred inside or outside the building. Shattered glass was visible at the entrance of the complex.
Officers were seen taking computer hardware containing video surveillance of the shooting from the building.
The Lucas County Coroner's Office ruled the death a homicide and said the cause of death was a gunshot wound to the chest. Tilman's death is the city's 39th homicide this year.
