TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo police are investigating a late-night shooting that left one person hospitalized.
Officers responded to a call just before midnight on Saturday about a person shot at Woodrow Boulevard and Elder Drive. Several people were seen running from the scene by police as they arrived but no victims were located.
Additional police crews then responded to a second call about a person shot at Wilson Place and Richardson Drive. At the scene, police located an unoccupied crashed vehicle.
After a brief search, a victim, a 19-year-old female, was found one block over on Blanchard Street suffering from a gunshot wound to her leg. She was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to police reports.
No arrests were reported.
