TOLEDO, Ohio — A west Toledo home was damaged in a crash by a suspect allegedly fleeing police Saturday.
According to a Toledo police report, police responded to the intersection of West Sylvania Avenue and Phillips Avenue at approximately 8:30 p.m. regarding a weapons call.
The suspect, identified in the report as 22-year-old Stephon Wright, allegedly fled from police after authorities attempted a traffic stop. Wright then lost control of his vehicle, police said, and crashed into a porch of a home in the 900 block of Alvison. Wright also crashed into another vehicle, police said in an arrest warrant.
Police oversaw the situation while the suspect vehicle was towed from the area. No one was injured in the incident, police said in the report.
