Police respond to west Toledo home, report evidence of shooting

Officers responded to a home on West Central Avenue after calls for shots fired in a home.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Police are investigating a shooting in a west Toledo home early Thursday. 

According to a Toledo police report, crews were dispatched to a residence in the 1500 block of West Central Avenue just before 12:30 a.m. regarding reports of shots fired inside a home. At the scene, police located spent shell casings, live rounds and a blood trail leading into the home. 

Police claimed witnesses at the home were uncooperative with the investigation. 

No arrests or suspects were listed in the report.
