TOLEDO, Ohio — A teenager was injured Thursday afternoon after a shooting in central Toledo that also struck multiple homes and a vehicle.
According to a Toledo police report, officers received a ShotSpotter alert indicating 14 shots had been fired in the 400 block of West Delaware Avenue around 1 p.m. Crews responded to the area, where they located a scene and evidence; at the same time, they were informed by dispatch that a local hospital had received a walk-in gunshot wound victim.

Police continued investigating and claimed they determined a 17-year-old had been involved in a disorder outside a home and was ultimately shot in the neck. The victim's injuries were determined to be non-life threatening, police said.
According to police, a home on Delaware Avenue and another home on Melrose Avenue had been struck by gunfire, too, though no persons in those residences were injured in the incident. Additionally, a nearby contractor vehicle was shot twice on the passenger side, police said.

No arrests or suspects were listed in the report. Police continue to investigate.
