TOLEDO, Ohio — Police have taken a Toledo man into custody on a murder warrant in connection with the Dec. 6 shooting death of another man.
Toledo police took Terrance Oliver, 41, into custody four days after issuing a warrant for his arrest on homicide charges.
Oliver appeared in court on Monday and his bond was set at $1 million. His next hearing is scheduled for Dec. 22 at 9 a.m.
On Wednesday, Oliver was indicted on murder and felonious assault charges.
He was also arraigned on drug charges from August of aggravated trafficking and possession of a controlled substance. His bond for the aggravated trafficking charge was set at $10,000.
Oliver is accused in the homicide of Antron Tilman, 36, who was shot in the chest and killed on Dec. 6 at the Ashland Manor apartments.
Police issued a warrant for Oliver on Tuesday, Dec. 12.

According to the previous booking, Oliver is 6 feet, 3 inches tall.

Police responded to a call about a person shot just after midnight on Dec. 6 at the Ashland Manor Apartment complex. Officers at the scene told WTOL 11 Tilman was rushed to the hospital where he later died from his injuries. The Lucas County Coroner's Office ruled Tilman's death a homicide.
Tilman's death was Toledo's 39th homicide of 2023.
