Two Toledo gas stations robbed by multiple armed suspects early Tuesday

In both instances, multiple suspects entered the business in the early hours of Tuesday.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo police are investigating two robberies early Tuesday - one in west Toledo and another in Point Place - both of which allegedly involved multiple suspects.

In police reports, officers said they were dispatched to the Circle K gas station in the 2900 block of Tremainsville Road at approximately 12:30 a.m. Police said they were told by a clerk that three unknown suspects entered the building and brandished handguns. They ordered the clerk to open the register.

The clerk triggered the robbery alarm; the suspects then allegedly took several packs of cigarettes and fled the area on foot.
