TOLEDO, Ohio — A suspect indicted in an aggravated robbery is facing additional charges after allegedly leading police on a foot pursuit in north Toledo Wednesday afternoon.
A Toledo police sergeant, who works as a part of the Gang Task Force, said in the report he observed 34-year-old Ramone Mosby - whom he recognized - attempting to hide after seeing officers. Police said they were able to learn Mosby had five open warrants, including aggravated robbery, and began to look for him.
Officers located Mosby hiding behind a garage near Michigan Street and Locust Street, but Mosby fled, giving way to what police described in the report as a "lengthy" foot pursuit. Mosby entered a home that wasn't his own in the 800 block of Walnut Street, shutting the door behind him on officers.
A police sergeant then forced entry into the building. Mosby allegedly attempted to flee out of another door, but was caught, police said.
Police spoke with the residents at the home police and Mosby entered, and the residents said they did not know the suspect. According to police, there was little to no damage to the door frame.
The report also stated an officer broke his gun holster after falling during the pursuit.

- Grand theft of a motor vehicle, a fourth-degree felony
